Wresher, Behemoth of Hulptos by Moleman9000 Wresher, Behemoth of Hulptos by Moleman9000
CREATURE: The Wresher is an enormous aquatic creature indigenous to the deepest oceans of the aquatic planet Hulptos in the Delta Octant. One of the largest beings on a planet 96% covered by liquid, the Wresher measures about 20 meters in length and 18 in height/width. It is most unique for its bizarre, selectively translucent body which makes clearly visible the beast’s entire inner digestive system. Despite this peculiar feature, though, the Wresher’s entire body is as tough and resilient as would be expected from any creature of its caliber, with a durability value of nearly 6,000.

They are largely carnivorous but rather passive creatures, sustaining a diet mainly consisting of small fish which travel in large groups, a whole flock of which can easily fit into its mouth. They inhale powerfully to suck up their food. Thus, the Wresher can easily be a danger to many larger animals that are not necessarily part of its diet but can still be sucked into its gaping mouth, not to mention humanoid explorers.

"Moleman" can see things that we non-moles cannot. He can create whole universes full of fantastic creatures, but we immediately perceive them as if we had always known them, somewhere in space and time. They are usually demons and the like, but we wouldn't dream of changing them into "good" creatures. They may be threatening, but we would simply love to be threatened by them. They draw on mythology, science fiction, cartoons, etc., in an original and witty way. A feature I especially like is their shapes and colors, somewhat recalling the ancient Aztec and Maya art --- but thank God, Moleman will keep offering it to us even after December 21, 2012 ;-)

Yep! This was the last picture of mine that I really wanted to remake, and doing so was actually harder than it might seem. It required several attempts.
