Assorted Creatures Set 2: OMEGA EDITION by Moleman9000 Assorted Creatures Set 2: OMEGA EDITION by Moleman9000
CENTER:

:bulletblue: Jordefrey: A large flying creature which dwells on Qollag. They usually float around at a fairly low elevation above the planet’s surface, usually dwelling amid the upper vines and leaves of the indigenous flora. Jordefreys are partly autotrophic and partly heterotrophic, specifically needing energy derived in both forms to sustain themselves. They can live for up to seventy years and their cells have a significant regeneration factor. The blue “frame” component of the animal’s body is lined with hundreds of tiny pores which intake natural nutrients and moisture from Qollag’s air, while the yellow organs visible on the inside of the “frame” consume other small organisms and substances that they catch onto as the Jordefrey moves through the air. DURABILITY VALUE: 700

:bulletpurple: Marnaela: One of the larger and more dangerous beings found in Neo–Skyhold. These angels are purposed for defending the threshold between worlds and warding off evil spirits with the Rainbow Energy they radiate, focused into extra–corporeal repulsion jets around the vicinity of wherever they are. What appears to be a fearsome expression on the front of its body is in fact merely a pattern on its skin; Marnaeli are telepathic and telekinetic beings, their form is built around a large cerebral organ which is the center of the entity’s being, with two large lobes which account for all sensory functions. The large crystal embedded in this creature’s forehead is also a major source of Rainbow Energy. DURABILITY VALUE: 800

:bulletred: Uve Mard: The predominant humanoid race of Qollag, Epsilon Octant. They are short and fuzzy creatures with striped crown structures on their heads, large, sensitive ears, and arms that are rather burly compared to the rest of their bodies. The Uve Mards are naturally gifted in academia and the analysis of all things worth analyzing; they are best known and have been immortalized throughout the Prime Galaxy as the beings who developed the Relative Age Timeline. While this has been, and likely always will be, their most monumental achievement, the Uve Mards as a people have made numerous other contributions to various aspects of Nava–Verse culture, their Uve Mard Estate being the Prime Galaxy's premier organization dedicated to sciences and important records, much like the Joiemgaw Media Corporation is the leading party in terms of more "casual" media. There is known to be a significant amount of research and technology that is still kept privately by the Uve Mard race's innermost circles and off–limits to all others, leading to various rumors and conspiracy theories throughout the ages. DURABILITY VALUE: 600 (Average)

:bulletpurple: Nirtrid: The Nirtrid is a quasi–demonic creature of very mysterious origin, and one of the most unique life forms to be found in the Nava–Verse. Believed to be the indirect spawn of Sloth Demons including the nefarious Mortred, and also possibly related to the Rorynth, these monsters have consistently proven to be dangerous and prolific pests that somehow can turn up on virtually any planet. No one knows which location the Nirtrids originated in. They are extremely large (for a being of their shape) worm / insectoid–like creatures that live in nests of between 10–25 or more individuals built directly and immediately beneath any type of ground surface where the soil is viable. They are liable to burst from the ground and attack at any time. Nirtrids are also recognizable by their twisted, freakish faces, a trait shared with the demons they are widely thought to be related to. Also, they are some of the most genetically versatile creatures in the Nava–Verse: there are at least twenty–six distinct species of Nirtrid, each with distinguishing unique traits. For taxonomy purposes, the different types of Nirtrid are coded by the letters of the English symbol system (A–Z). Shown here are Types A–E and J. DURABILITY VALUE: 200–>400–>500+ (Varies for different species)

:bulletgreen: Bagelurk: A truly bizarre and rarely seen being that seems to live in very small numbers on Sertrop. It is classified as a “Beast–Hominid”, or an animal that fits the definition of a humanoid in terms of body shape, but lacks higher–order intelligence. Bagelurks are more than three meters in height, are known to be nocturnal and are noted for the unusual bumpy and slimy texture of their bodies as well as a unique head lacking any discernible facial features besides a series of dots which constantly, erratically and independently become brighter and darker, seemingly indicating expression. Many younglings of humanoid species have been observed to harbor a strange fear of this creature. DURABILITY VALUE: 1,200

TOP CENTER:

:bulletpurple: Wormcroth: Freakish beasts from the infamous planet Kugrun. They begin life as what appear to be plants, typically growing from fungus–infested cave ceilings, but quickly grow into a hard cocoon structure which eventually “gives birth”, so to say, to the true beast, an invertebrate mammal. From there, the Wormcroth’s main body remains connected to the initial structure for the next few cycles of its life, being able to retract back into it and emerge to strike down unsuspecting prey that wanders into its lair. In this state, they are able to move to different locations by burrowing back into the ceiling or ground with their sentient roots and traveling beneath the surface to reemerge at a move suitable spot. The Wormcroth is actually more dangerous here than in its adult form, due to its tendency to ambush unpredictably and the electrified “tentacles” hanging down from its sides. Eventually, though, it abandons its roots entirely and becomes a large, free–roaming carnivorous worm... which is usually killed and eaten fairly quickly by the Anyugari, whom it is one of the main foods of. For unknown causes, possibly the work of Pipi’Loan, Wormcroths had been seen on many other planets besides their native one in the past, but following the defeat of Pipi’Loan and the isolation of Kugrun, this phenomenon has ceased. Their durability value while attached to the cocoon is 900, and without it is 600–700.

:bulletorange: Manciatent: A humanoid race from planet Brinanzy, Gamma Octant. They are lean creatures with tubular mouth organs, capable of leaping great heights and lengths. However, their thin limbs also make them rather physically weak apart from these powers. Despite what appear to be tiny “wings”, they cannot actually fly and these structures serve no apparent purpose. Manciatents are isolated from the rest of Prime Galaxy society due to their apparent inability to speak or learn English; they are only able to talk in a strange, unnamed tongue that few scholars have managed to translate, and only roughly at that. Thus, until a universal translator comes into being or if they somehow do finally adapt to the universal language, these strange beings will continue to be set apart. A Manciatent’s average durability value is 550.

:bulletblue: Jartrude: The “Nirtrid Queen”. She is the lifelong mate of the Mirtrode, the Nirtrid King, and considerably more dangerous. Like her male counterpart, the Jartrude lives at the core of the Nirtrid hive that she is the Matriarch of, where she spends the bulk of its life sodomizing with her partner to produce more Nirtrid offspring, which she will give birth to literally thousands of during her lifespan. She contains the DNA of all twenty–six standard varieties of Nirtrid, and will give birth to different kinds at random. To assist in her breeding processes, the Jartrude has six breasts, all on her underside, and four separate womb chambers. Although not much larger than normal Nirtrids and certainly not humanoid at all, unlike the Nirtrid King, the Nirtrid Queen nevertheless is the most powerful beast in the family, excluding the Mortred demon which they are all possibly descended from, due to her large bodily stores of Infernal Energy and high durability value of 2,000. Approach with extreme caution or, better yet, don’t approach at all!

TOP LEFT:

:bulletorange: Hernolall: The secondary humanoids of the Zeta Octant planet Namyufefe. They are a beastlike and animalistic but generally non–hostile species physically characterized by a tall and lean build that generally measures about six feet upright, hot–colored and muscularly well–toned bodies, and fuzzy blue hair on certain parts of said bodies. Their lower legs are notably tougher and rougher than the rest of their bodies, and end in three–toed flat hooves. The Hernolall has the fairly unique ability to move faster while on four legs than it can while standing upright. Thus, these humanoids are often seen moving around on all fours, and may be mistaken for quadrupedal animals by those unfamiliar with them. Hernolalls currently live in basic and scattered tribes, and they number only a few million in total population, due to Namyufefe being largely dominated by its other humanoid race, the Yunstoxars. Relating to what is elaborated on in the Yunstoxar's adjacent entry, it is believed by many that the Hernolalls did at one point possess the potential to develop into something more advanced than what they are today, but that they failed to pick up on this opportunity, unlike the Yunstoxars. It would be more accurate to describe the Hernolalls as "simple" than it would be to call them "dumb", as they are very competent when it comes to collecting food and avoiding danger in the largely wild environments they live in, have acute survival instincts, and even speak fluent English, but are lacking, as it is, in the complex abilities necessary to form a more progressive society like that of their "cousin" race. Indeed, most of them do not much mind the fact that the Yunstoxars are much better off than them.
The average Hernolall has a durability value of about 900, give or take.

:bulletpink: Yunstoxar: The primary humanoids of Namyufefe. Yunstoxars are stout, dark–pinkish creatures that are usually between four and five feet in height and consistently weigh more than 200 pounds during adulthood; they have been physically compared to the Merthaldu, due to being similar in color and girth (though Merthaldu are larger overall and quite different in character). They are a peaceful warrior race; that is to say, they generally undergo significant training for battle, but rarely put that experience into practice. Their most notable wartime involvement was in Age 415, when Namyufefe was briefly conquered by Anyugari, who overpowered the Yunstoxars with the unnatural powers and resources they'd derived from their "god" Pipi'Loan. Yunstoxars have a distaste for firearms and most projectile weapons, and an affinity for swords, axes and similar weapons, as well as for metallic armor in both mail and plate varieties. Though their own technology is mostly metal–based, they do a great deal of trading with other races and thus have access to a diverse range of imported technology, which has aided them in expanding their society on an interplanetary scale.
Yunstoxars are considered the most presently active and prominent race to come from the Zeta Octant, as they have eleven major, permanent colonies besides their homeworld located throughout the entire Prime Galaxy, and boast a total population of over one billion. Overall, they are among the more advanced humanoid civilizations in the Nava–Verse, in sharp contrast to the primitive Hernolalls whom they share their home planet with, though the two races started their existences at similarly low developmental levels; in other words, the Yunstoxars were able to evolve as a people while the Hernolalls were not. It has been speculated that the two species were both created with the same potential and deliberately placed on a moderate–sized planet that lacked the space and resources to sustain two full–fledged civilizations as a sort of "experiment" by the higher powers to see which one would come out on top. Though the Hernolalls are/were arguably more physically fit, their rivals were evidently more intelligent, resourceful and able to adapt, which gave them the long–term advantage. In any case, it is fortunate that the Yunstoxars have not wiped out their "cousin" race altogether, which might have been the case were they more aggressive or greedy.
The average Yunstoxar has a natural durability value of 800.

The two on the top left are rather goofy in appearance.

Those would be the Hernolall and Yunstoxar. You read the descriptions about them, right? And you don't mean that in a negative way, do you?

My favorite of these is Marnaela (That's the cranium-like one, correct?)
